Initial sessions are for skin with no previous ink OR existing tattoo has been assessed and approved by Kayana Beauty to proceed with new brow work. Failure to provide a photo of existing tattoo for approval prior to booking may result in the forfeit of your booking fee.
To complete the cosmetic tattooing process a Color Boost session is required within 2-6 months after the initial session. This is not included in the initial price and is booked during your initial session. If it is beyond 6 months the 7-11 month Color Boost option must be chosen. Color Boosts must be completed at least once within a 24 month time frame. If it has been beyond 24 months it is considered a brand new initial session.
The highest standards of hygiene and sanitation are met in our facility. Sterile, disposable needles and pigment containers are used for each individual client, procedure, and visit. This is a tattoo process and therefore an art, not an exact science. Every effort will be made to avoid asymmetry but no face is completely symmetrical.
You are responsible for determining the color, shape, and position of brows as agreed during consultation. Upon completion of the procedure there might be swelling and redness of the skin, which will subside within 1-4 days. In some cases, bruising may occur.
The true color will be seen 6-8 weeks after each procedure, and pigment may vary according to skin tone, type, condition, and age. Some skin types accept pigment more readily and no guarantee on exact color can be given. The results of the procedure can be affected by the following: medication, skin characteristics (dry, oily, sun damaged, thick or thin skin type), pH balance, lifestyle (tanning/sun exposure, exfoliation, skin care routines), and aftercare.
Permanent skin pigmentation carries with it known/unknown risks and complications associated with cosmetic procedures, including but not limited to: allergic reaction, infection, scarring, inconsistent color, spreading, fanning, or fading of pigments.
Non-toxic pigments are used during the procedure and the results achieved may fade over a period of 1-3 years. Even once the color fades, pigment itself may stay in the skin indefinitely. The actual color of the pigment may be modified slightly due to the tone and/or color of skin. The FDA does not approve or exercise regulatory authority for color additives on the pigments used in semi permanent/permanent cosmetics and tattoo inks and the technician/artist is released from liability if an allergic reaction is developed from the pigment.
PhiRemoval non laser tattoo removal is for cosmetic and body tattoos that are at least six weeks old OR had removal work done at least six weeks ago. Failure to allow the required minimum of six weeks to elapse will result in the forfeit of your booking fee.
Emergency Tattoo Removal is for the removal of new cosmetic and body tattoos that have been performed within 48 hours or less. If you've missed the 48 hour window, please book a regular Tattoo Removal appointment 6 weeks from your tattoo procedure. Booking this service beyond the 48 hour window will result in the forfeit of your booking fee.
For desired results, the number of required sessions depends on the size, placement, pigment type and depth of the permanent makeup or tattoo. Most processes take two or more sessions to either lighten or remove pigment.
